OUR TEACHERS

Radha Iveta bio Yoga Teacher
Radha Iveta

Radha is an experienced yoga teacher who completed a 500h+ teacher training in the Hridaya yoga and meditation school in Mexico, where she lived immersed in yogic philosophy and lifestyle for several years.

Since 2014 she has taught internationally and has now made beautiful Hawke's Bay her home base.

Radha has a great passion for the traditional teachings of Yoga and the healing science of Ayurveda and sees the potential they hold to benefit and enrich the life of modern people.

Above all, Radha's personal practice and style of teaching is focused on meditation as a tool of connection to one's self and the Heart of being.

She offers meditative traditional hatha, yin, meditation courses and silent meditation retreats.

Jenny Allan bio Yoga Teacher
Jenny Allan

Jenny completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2021 and from there, naturally found her
passion teaching yin, restorative and yoga nidra.
Having been a massage therapist for over 20 years, Jenny’s major focus has always been bringing her
clients to a place of relaxation, in which profound healing can take place. This remains her focus
through her yoga classes.
Also a practitioner of myofascial release, Jenny knows that yin and restorative yoga can both help
release fascia. A healthy myofascial system means the body has to effort less to function in this
world and this in turn creates more energy. Yin and restorative yoga will leave people feeling both
rested and energised, well-equipped to embrace all of life.

Erleen Oldham yoga bio Yoga Teacher
Erleen Oldham

Erleen has been practicing yoga for over 12 years. Wanting to share the benefits she has gained from a regular practice she completed her 200hr yoga teacher training through Jayayoga in 2021, followed by a four month mentorship to complete a year of training and become a Yoga NZ registered teacher.
Erleens focus is on a safe sustainable practice, balancing building strength and flexibility both in the mind and body, on and off the mat. Combining breath, body and the more subtle elements of yoga with knowledge and training in trauma and mental health awareness Erleen aims to offer a complete practice that may offer elements of challenge but is also sensitive to the nervous system.

Mary Brooker yoga bio Yoga Teacher
Mary Brooker

Mary has attended various yoga classes for more than 10 years. To advance her own practice she undertook level 1 Purna Yoga Teacher training in Byron Bay in 2019.  Purna means ‘complete’ in Sanskrit, so the training included aspects of all the 8 limbs of yoga.  For Mary, teacher training has been a life changing experience facilitating daily self practice. Teaching  and sharing this knowledge feels like the natural progression.  As a health practitioner she understands the importance of maintaining fitness, flexibility and strength as we get older, and that in todays hectic life, the skills to focus inwardly and relax are invaluable.

gemma 2.jpeg
Gemma Holloway

Gemma has completed a 200h Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher training with Akasha Yoga Academy

in 2023.

Yoga has been a huge influence on Gemma's life the past couple of years and she loves being able to hold space for others to come to a place of inner peace and stillness, by incorporating breath with movement.

She loves to theme her classes around the cycles of nature, as well as clearing and balancing the Chakras. In Gemma's classes you can expect to practice postures that improve flexibility, as well as moving with the breath to stabilise the mind and bring inner peace and calm.
