About the event
Join Misha-Joy for a time to connect with your Self, your true heart, and those in our community. We will create a sacred space where we are tuned into our true Selves and our heart-minds. From this space we will practice cultivating feelings of love, connection, forgiveness and peace.
This offering will consist of a slow yoga flow focussed on opening up the heart, followed by a community practice known as Ho’ponopono and a warm meditation.
Hoʻoponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. The Hawaiian word translates into English simply as “correction”. Hence this practice was (and is) used to correct unhelpful thinking/feeling towards oneself and towards others in the community. It is a simple practice that comprises of repeating four key phrases while directing your heartfelt attention to the person you wish to connect with (this can be yourself, too!).
