Service Description

Cultivating Sanctuary is a space to come home to your body and breath, a place to cultivate your own sanctuary through the practice of yoga. This class is a whole being journey suitable for women and supports movement, strength, energy and stillness. This is an integrated yoga practice to strengthen and optimise the body, but also work at the mastery of the mind incorporating fundamental elements of a yoga practice- asanas (poses) pranayama (breathing practices) and meditation. This is nourishing, mindful movement guided by the breath. We build strength and stability alongside mobility, deep relaxation and nervous-system regulation. We notice how we feel rather than how a pose looks. For every age and stage This series is for women of every age and phase of life, from menstruation and post-natal recovery through peri-menopause, menopause and beyond. Women at different stages practice side by side. Learning together across generations helps us move through life’s transitions with more ease, less isolation and a stronger sense of belonging. Rachel will take into consideration injuries, chronic conditions, and other factors such as the weather, season and time of day. This consideration will determine the pace and content of the class. $175 for 10 class pass (valid for 6 months) $145 for 8 class term pass (valid for 3 months) $20 drop in Let me know if money is a barrier to practice as I would love to find a way to welcome you.
