**Begins 20 Feb** This class is perfect for those who are new to Mat Pilates, recovering from an injury/illness or are perhaps older. Kira will focus on teaching you Pilates basics, increasing mobility & flexibility and gently strengthening your body in an aligned manner. Her classes are going to balance your body across all planes of movement, increase your Mind-Body Connection and develop your core. She is able to modify exercises in a way that best suits your needs. She teaches Pilates in a classical way that balances and aligns the body when building strength and muscle tone. Kira will cater to your body's needs, modifying exercises accordingly and encouraging a deep Mind-Body connection. Her teaching style is descriptive; working you through each aspect of every exercise and ensuring you know which part of your body is meant to be active at each stage. She also teaches Reformer Pilates (qualified by Reform's Dynamic Instructor's Course) but is most passionate about Mat.
